Cheap cushions – where to find them?

Flicking through the pages of interiors magazines sometimes all I see are cushions and textiles way out of my budget. Where are all the cheap, purse-friendly cushions I ask myself?

I think I may have  stumbled across the answer, my friends. And I didn't stumble very far because the answer is at the end of our streets.  In our supermarkets, no less.

Long gone are the days when all you bought from the supermarket was food. Now you can pick up a bikini and a wide-screen TV while you shop for dinner. I have seen it with my own eyes, the home-ware ranges in British supermarkets really do provide well designed cushions at amazingly cheap prices.

So let's take a look at some of these budget-friendly cushions for ourselves.

Asda has cushions ranging in price from £4, like this chenile spotted number, which also comes in blue, green, purple and brown,

to a superb £7 for these on-trend, hand-writing style designs spelling out 'ooh la la' if you're feeling a little fancy....

....or 'love' for the romantic in you!

Sainsburys offer up more supermarket-chic in the shape of this type-writer text cushion for £7.

but, in my opinion, Tesco offers the best selection of cheap cushions for the budget-conscious. From tasteful prints to quirky stencils every cushion below is either £6 or £7, which is incredibly good value.

So, if you're looking for a quick update for your sofa or bed, it's definitely worth taking a peek next time you're trawling the aisles with your trolley!
